Q. Does the xBoard Illuminator fit longboard trucks?

A. Not directly, but you can easily make the xBoard Illuminator fit a longboard truck by filing or trimming away a small area of plastic on one end of the housing.

Q. Do you have to remove the truck to change the batteries?

A. Yes, do to the high impact induced by most skateboard riders, it would be nearly impossible to make a door or cover that would not break or come off.

Q. How can it raise the board only 1/8 inch if it requires two AA batteries?

A. The truck fits up inside the housing. The batteries are located on the sides of the truck flange.

Q. What about wheel bite? Will it hit?

A. The xBoard Illuminator was designed so the batteries and LEDs fit in the area to the side of the truck flange and above the axle. The wheels will make contact with the deck first.

Q. Can I use a riser pad with the xBoard light?

A. Yes, a riser pad will fit between the truck and plastic housing.
